However google will consider this new content and this just might improve your seo, as long as old urls redirect to something relevant to your site.
Maybe but that'ss unlikely as you'll lose past signals on the existing content, which appears to be of importance to gymvag (site is old, I saw post from more than 10 years ago).

Redirects will only help if the content is the same (ie: only the URL has changed) and even that is a gamble as it can take a long time (like months for largish sites such www.relatospulp.com)

And if the content is not the same, then redirects will not help and then it's like you start a new website.

All that said, looking at the site, it's typically the kind of sites that'll be demoted by Google based on "helpful content updates": you have lots of ads, and even "interstitial ads", that's pretty bad to be honest.
