I have an old installation of Joomla website on my WHM server. The installation is in the root public html folder.
A year ago, we created a new website for our organization on a new server. The solution that was implemented at that time was on a new server. To make it live, the web designer simply added a CNAME record in the DNS to forward the domain to the new server.
I now need to be able to access content on the old server, but the only way I can seem to do this is to delete the CNAME record, which renders our new website unreachable.
Is there a way I can leave this CNAME, or create a different style of redirect, to allow our new website to work properly and allow me to reach the old site using a custom link or subdomain?
